Office Owner
Brian has over 20 years experience as an independent business owner and a corporate deal maker. As a seasoned intermediary, Brian has successfully represented M&A transactions in many industries including Medical, Hospitality, Manufacturing and Service.
Brian is also a Senior Partner at Sunbelt Indiana Business Resource, which has been responsible for over 1000 sell side transactions since 1983. Prior experience includes several entrepreneurial ventures and serving as Vice President of Franchise Development at Prime Hospitality and Director of Franchising for Choice Hotels. This broad range of entrepreneurial and corporate experience as well as Brian’s passionate commitment to his clients has served Brian well to achieve a reputation of excelling at getting deals done.
Brian has received the prestigious Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor ("CM&AA") designation which is jointly awarded by the Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors® and Loyola University. He is a graduate of Ball State University with a degree in Management Information Systems and an MBA from Butler University. Brian is a licensed Real Estate Broker, Series 7 Securities licensed, Member of the International Business Brokers Association, Venture Club, Board Member of The Entrepreneur Institute, and Treasurer of the Indiana Chapter of the Entrepreneur Organization.

With over 14 years of business ownership, management and sales, Dave understands the needs of both buyers and sellers in confidential business transactions. As a former owner of a mortgage company, he also brings a unique perspective of the financing aspect of deal making. Since joining Sunbelt in 2004, Dave has represented a variety of companies in such industries as service, distribution and manufacturing. Dave has a reputation for successful transactions and consistently receives compliments from both buyers and sellers for his diligent work and adding tremendous value to the transaction process.
Mr. Gorman’s education and experience includes: Indiana State University (Management), Indiana State (Securities Division) Mortgage Brokers License (8 years).
In his spare time, Dave and his family: Angela, Jayden (13) and Kade (11) enjoy family vacations and traveling, sporting activities and their local church.
Prior to joining Sunbelt Indiana Business Resource, Tim Koger was the Senior Vice President/President-Midwest for a leading National Mortgage Company. With over 20 years of experience in the lending and financial services industry, Mr. Koger has a proven track record of success. While managing a 15 state territory which included a staff of 120 account executives and 110 operational employees in seven separate locations (Indianapolis, Chicago, St. Louis, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Detroit, Grand Rapids) Mr. Koger was frequently recognized as a top leader for growth, profitability, efficiency, quality and customer service. During this time Mr. Koger grew his division from $40 million per month to over $1 billion. For his contributions Mr. Koger received the coveted President’s Council Award nine times in a span of 14 years.
Mr. Koger is a passionate customer service advocate and understands the needs of both buyers and sellers in a confidential business transaction. Mr. Koger has an extensive history of value creation responsibility and a skill set that would compliment any business transaction.
Mr. Koger received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Ball State University. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family: wife (Mary), sons (Nick-17 and Joe-13) and daughter (Katie-6). Interests include volunteering, traveling, sports and anything outdoors.

As a business owner in seek of transition, Tim developed a long term relationship with Sunbelt from the outside in, first as a client then as a colleague. Having been personally guided through the delicate process of buying and selling businesses, he now serves clients much the same way Sunbelt served him. With experience as a mid-market regional controller, in Fortune 500 sales, capital management, commercial real estate, a M&A intermediary, and a Sunbelt client, Tim brings a unique skill set to the Sunbelt team.
That experience, coupled with a veracious appetite for success, transfers a rare value to his clients. He has a BA in accounting from Eastern Illinois University, is licensed in real estate, is credentialed in his practice as a CM&AA, and as a CBI.
The Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor ("CM&AA") designation is jointly awarded by the Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors and Loyola University to professionals that evidence mastery of the M&A body of knowledge and a commitment to staying abreast of new developments in the field of investment banking and mergers and acquisitions. It also recognizes professional achievement and competence, serves as a tool to both attract and serve new clients, and provides identification with other professionals in the field.
CM&AA professionals are accredited experts in one or more professional fields (i.e. CPA, accountant, lawyer, corporate finance, valuation analyst, CFA, or MBA with wall street type investment banking experience) and understand the overall investment banking process for selling and buying middle-market companies (revenues typically ranging from $5 million to $150 million).
Prior to joining Sunbelt Indiana Business Resource, Dick most recently served as
a business consultant, a role that seemed appropriate given his prior experience as
the President and CEO of his own company. Mr. Parks also has extensive financial
expertise, including experience as CFO and Vice President.
Dick has provided many services to his past clients that will benefit his current
clientele. He has provided a wide range of business counseling and advisory services,
having assisted in multiple acquisitions and integrations of the acquired
company. This experience, combined with his experience in owning and operating
his own business, allows Mr. Parks to assist business sellers and buyers with the
expertise and knowledge they desire.
In his spare time, Dick serves on the Fishers Rotary Club Board of Directors and
has been involved in the Fishers Chamber of Commerce and Fishers Advisory
Commission. Mr. Parks is a graduate of Morehead State University, where he received
his Bachelor of Business Administration with Area of Concentration in
Accounting.
Steve is a CPA and has successfully represented hundreds of clients buying and selling businesses through Sunbelt Indiana Business Resource. As a Business Intermediary, Steve’s area of expertise includes Mergers and Acquisitions for manufacturing, wholesale distribution, and mid-size service businesses. His background and training in large Fortune 500 corporations and managing small entrepreneurial type companies has given Steve a wide breadth of experiences to draw from.
Steve began his career in 1970 with the public Accounting Firm of Ernst & Ernst in Indianapolis. He joined Central Soya Co. of Fort Wayne, IN as an Auditor and subsequently held positions as an Accounting Manager and Financial Analyst for International Operations. In 1980, he joined Staley Mfg. Co. of Decatur, IL as a Division Controller. In 1987, he became Corporate Controller for a small biotech company called United AgriSeeds, later acquired by Dow Chemical. At Dow AgroSciences in Indianapolis, Steve enjoyed further success by holding positions of Financial Systems Development Manager, Global Cost Accounting Manager, and Credit Manager.
As a Credit Manager at Dow, Steve was actively engaged with customers and clients throughout North America and managed a risk portfolio over of $500 million. Having served in the role of Credit Manager as well as prior experiences in auditing, forensic auditing, financial and accounting management, Steve has become an expert in analyzing financial information and risk assessment.
Steve’s education and experience includes a BS degree in accounting from Ball State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of International Business Brokers Association.
Prior to joining Sunbelt Indiana Business Resource, Gary was
an entrepreneur who owned and operated several successful
businesses in Indiana and Florida. Gary also worked as an
international business consultant and had the pleasure of
working with professional high level executives of multi-million
dollar companies to help them grow their respective businesses
through mergers and acquisitions. He has worked with clients
worldwide to analyze growth opportunities and assist them in
locating strategic alliance partners to penetrate new markets.
With his experience of owning and operating companies and
working with larger multi-million dollar companies, Gary
understands the needs of both buyers and sellers in a
confidential business transaction. Gary holds a Bachelor of
Science degree from Purdue University and an International
MBA degree from Clemson University and CIMBA University in
Italy and has a license in real estate. Gary, his wife Mary,
daughter Megan, son Brandon and their black lab live and enjoy
family and friends in Zionsville.
