Sunbelt of Greensboro

Bob Holt has owned and operated the Sunbelt office in Greensboro, North Carolina since 1997. Prior to joining Sunbelt, Bob attended Wake Forest University and worked in accounting and real estate. He then bought his first business in 1980 and subsequently bought and sold several businesses, using brokers in the process. He also opened multiple businesses as start-ups. His experiences as both a seller and buyer provides valuable insight and allows him to help his clients navigate the steps necessary to complete a successful business sale or acquisition. He works well not only with the seller and buyer, but also with accountants, attorneys, landlords and lenders in facilitating a successful transaction. His favorite quote (adapted) is "Closing a business sale is like fighting a gorilla, you don't quit when you get tired, you quit when the gorilla gets tired".
Bob has been married for 30 years to Diane and has two adopted daughters and a 3-year old grandson. He enjoys baseball, music, reading and movies, and is an avid tennis player.
