
Sunbelt Expands Into Eastern Europe
Sunbelt®, the world’s largest network of franchised business brokerage offices, has signed a master franchise agreement with Marius Stancescu and Adrian Buga for development of Sunbelt offices in Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Moldova and Serbia. Stancescu and Buga have recently opened their first office in Bucharest, Romania.
“Over the past few years, we have had the opportunity to grow the Sunbelt brand throughout the United Kingdom and we are looking forward to having the same momentum in Eastern Europe,” said Matt Ottaway, Sunbelt Brand Manager. “Marius and Adrian will be instrumental in introducing the Sunbelt brand and services to five growing markets.”
Adrian Buga joins Sunbelt as an experienced business consultant. Since 2007, he has been an advisor to several organizations for investments and mergers and acquisitions in Europe, specializing in corporations looking to buy or produce locally. Mr. Buga has received specialized training in Marketing Management, Organizational Assessment & Audit, Logistics and Purchasing. Adrian currently resides in Bucharest with his wife Lavinia and their two children.
Prior to joining Sunbelt, Marius Stancescu was a successful entrepreneur, founding numerous companies specializing in business services. He is also an expert in accounting, taxation and investment, provided to both companies and individuals. Mr. Stancescu specializes in general business brokerage, divestitures and complex M&A transactions. Marius and his life companion Elena live in Bucharest and enjoy traveling and spending time with his five children.
