Throughout the years, I have truly enjoyed living and working in central Nebraska. I received my degree in business from Kearney State College (University of Nebraska-Kearney). After college, I joined the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) serving as a commissioned bank examiner for seven years. I left the FDIC to begin work at a local community bank and within two years was promoted to bank president. I served in that capacity for 25 years. During my years at the bank, I built key relationships with many folks in the surrounding communities. I have met with hundreds of business owners and I am intimately familiar with a wide variety of lending vehicles, including Small Business Administration (SBA) loans. During my tenure at the bank, I served on the board of the Nebraska Bankers Association. Also, I am a licensed real estate appraiser.
Beyond my banking experience, I have been involved in a variety of business and community organizations such as the local Chamber of Commerce, the Sherman County Economic Development Board, and the Valley County Health System Foundation.
I am delighted to join Sunbelt of Nebraska serving sellers and buyers of small businesses in the central portion of our great state. As a seasoned banker, I recognize the many nuances of small business operations and finance, thereby bringing valuable perspective and extensive expertise to bear on the many details of the process. I understand that successfully serving clients is all about effectively solving problems that may occur during the process. I am driven to help my clients achieve their goals, whether it is to buy or sell a business.
As a member of the team at Sunbelt of Nebraska, I am pleased to work with a full team of professionals who can answer questions, ease concerns, and assist clients in achieving their goals and objectives.
