Shanon Madrid has over 20 years’ experience in business development and sales. She is a retired SVP in banking, and was successful in structuring numerous sound financing packages for the Sunbelt Business Broker transactions for small to midsize businesses ranging from $25,000 to $1,500,000. Her enjoyment is making dreams a reality and guiding the business owner and prospective buyers through the challenges and opportunities of owning a business. She is a subject matter expert in the Defense Industry and SBA financing. Additionally, she has an extensive understanding of B2B Services, Daycares, Construction, Light Manufacturing, Distribution, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Defense Contracting and Logistics, and Retail in the Raleigh, Durham, Greensboro, Highpoint and Fayetteville marketplace.

Shanon’s background includes experience with evaluating sales process, financial analytics and procedure improvement in preparation to buy or sell businesses. Her strong background in recruiting, sales promotion and marketing, prospecting, sales force management and strategic planning creates a solid background of knowledge. She has a solid track record as a skilled negotiator and is proactive in transaction management. Also, Ms. Madrid has held several senior level executive positions and has sat on many professional and business boards for small and middle-sized companies. Lastly, Ms. Madrid also has 29 years in the United States Air Force Reserve and is currently serving as a Medical Administrator. She holds true to several core values which is to provide the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality; while minimizing the time and stress typically experienced in negotiating the transfer of ownership of privately-held businesses. She received her undergraduate degree in Health Science from New Mexico State University and her Master’s in Business from Central Michigan University. Rex is from New York and relocated to the Raleigh area in 1997. He is licensed as a Broker-in-Charge in the state of North Carolina and is a member of the Triangle Commercial Association of Realtors. Prior to his Real Estate career, Rex served in the Air Force and enjoyed a career in Aviation technology. He currently resides in Morrisville with his wife and son and is active in several Triangle business and civic organizations.

Mr. Ezell has taken his experience in process improvement into the private sector and has worked with businesses in identifying areas that lead to increased cash-flow.

A North Carolina native, Adam graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in Political Science and Economics. He continues to work with communities across North Carolina to better education and promote economic development.

In her free time, Nyasha enjoys family activities, being a wife and mother, traveling, hiking, and social events. Since the Triad area is now Nyasha’s permanent home, she is dedicated to giving back to the community, and is a part of several local committees and volunteer groups.
