Ryan Cave is the President of Sunbelt Business Brokers of South Florida and a Florida-licensed real estate broker specializing in the confidential sale of lower middle market businesses. He advises owners of companies in the $2M–$15M enterprise value range across four South Florida offices: Boca Raton, West Palm Beach, Miami, and Fort Lauderdale.
Ryan runs structured sell-side processes targeting strategic acquirers, private equity platforms, independent sponsors, and qualified individual buyers. He and his team has advised on transactions representing over $500M in closed volume, with recent deals including a $9.5M painting contractor sale to a strategic buyer, $6.5M insurance agency to an independent sponsor, $5.3M franchise resale, $5M fencing contractor, $2.9M medspa, over a dozen HVAC companies, and over $50M in roofing businesses sold.
Core industry focus areas include HVAC and home services, specialty contracting, healthcare and medspa, insurance agencies, and franchise resales. Ryan also works across commercial services, distribution, light manufacturing, childcare, and e-commerce businesses throughout Florida.
Ryan holds three advanced M&A designations: Certified Business Intermediary (CBI), Certified M&A Professional (CM&AP), and Mergers & Acquisitions Master Intermediary (M&AMI). He earned his MBA and Master of Healthcare Administration from the University of Florida.
He currently serves as Chairman of the Business Brokers of Florida and is an instructor for the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA), teaching valuation and deal structuring to business brokers nationwide.
