Sam Lee, a highly competent Business Broker and M&A Advisor (DRE License #01371273), has been a key member of numerous transaction teams during the process of selling or acquiring businesses.
Sam is a Finance and Accounting Professional with more than 30 years’ experience contributing to organizations ranging from venture-funded start-ups to large, public international companies. He has served as Controller, Director of Finance and Administration, Business Manager, and CFO in a variety of industries, including law, engineering, mass communications, environmental services, construction, real estate, Internet technology, non-profits, and government/defense contractors.
In addition to his primary focus on business sales and acquisitions, Sam takes on selective engagements (as a Consulting CFO and a founding member of SF Bay CFO) to help small and mid-sized companies achieve their goals through effective financial planning, sound business strategy and informed, measurable decisions. He uses his business background and experience teaching finance and accounting to help business owners and their employees understand the relationship between the various business components and the financial health of the company.
With his broad range of business experience, Sam is especially effective at helping business owners develop strategic plans for exiting their businesses. And when the time comes to implement the exit plan, he is an expert at resolving the inevitable issues that arise during the marketing and sale of the business.
