Mike Keen has over two decades of experience in business and franchise management and ownership. He specializes in facilitating the acquisition and sale of high-revenue Main Street and Middle Market businesses.

Mike is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), a Certified Main Street Business Broker (CMSBB) and a Licensed Realtor (VA, TN) and a 26-year veteran of the Virginia State Police where he was a Senior Special Agent Fraud Investigator for the U.S. Attorney’s Office and the Attorney General’s Office. This experience provides Mike with an extensive understanding of the picture painted by a companies financial performance. Mike is also known for his ability to negotiate and bring parties together to get good deals across the finish line. His educational and professional paths allow him strategic insights and operational acumen, which he adeptly applies in his brokerage and community engagements.

In addition to his role as President of Sunbelt Business Brokers Roanoke, Mike and his wife Jeannie have bought, grown and sold multiple small businesse of their own. Mike is committed to helping other business owners exit on their terms and assisting buyers in achieving their dreams of business ownership. Mike's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management and Development from Bluefield College, and he is a member of the International Franchise Professionals Group (IFPG), the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA), the Carolinas-Virginia Business Brokers Association (CVBBA) and M&A Source. Mike has won multiple awards from these prestigious agencies, including the Million Dollar Award, the Multi-Million Dollar Award, Outstanding Producer. Mike’s dedication to his community and continuing education has also allowed him to serve in several Board of Director positions with the Virginia State Police Association, the International Business Broker’s Association and the Carolina/Virginia Business Broker’s Association.
