Mike Keen has more than 25 years of experience in the business industry with 16 years of experience as a franchise or small business owner. Mike is the President of Sunbelt Business Brokers of Roanoke, the area’s only Main Street Business Brokerage firm. As a 26-year veteran of the Virginia State Police, Mike has experience in Motorcycle Patrol, K-9 and the Bureau of Criminal Investigations. Mike was an investigator for the U.S. Attorney’s Office, as well as the Office of the Attorney General. He is a Certified Main Street Business Broker and a Certified Fraud Examiner. In addition to his role as President of Sunbelt Business Brokers Roanoke, Mike has been privileged to own multiple small businesses and prides himself on helping others make their dreams of business ownership, growth initiatives or exit strategies come true. Mike received his Bachelors of Science degree in Organizational Management and Development from Bluefield College. He has received the Certified Main Street Business Brokers (CMSBB) Certification and is also a member of both the International Franchise Professionals Group (IFPG) and the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA). Mike lives in Salem with his wife, Jeannie, and their two children, Olivia and Christian. He spends his free time coaching youth sports or volunteering at the school.
