Jeannie Keen

Jeannie Keen is the co-owner of Sunbelt Business Brokers of Roanoke & Lynchburg, where she leads business development, seller origination, and market strategy for privately held companies with annual revenue of $1M-$20M.

With more than two decades of experience as a business owner, operator, and advisor, Jeannie works closely with business owners on valuation, exit strategy, and the successful transition of their companies. She is known for her relationship-driven approach, strategic positioning insight, and ability to guide owners through the highly personal and often emotionally complex process of preparing for exit.

Prior to entering business brokerage, Jeannie held leadership roles spanning enterprise healthcare operations, pharmaceutical sales, clinical social work, and project management. Together, she and her husband and business partner, Mike Keen, have acquired, scaled, and successfully sold businesses across multiple industries, giving them firsthand experience on both sides of the transaction table.

Jeannie holds the Certified Main Street Business Broker (CMSBB) designation and credentials as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Project Management Professional (PMP). She is a member of the International Business Brokers Association and the Carolina-Virginia Business Brokers Association.

She earned her graduate degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, graduating summa cum laude, and is an alumna of the Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership and Leadership Roanoke Valley. Jeannie is also a member of the LEAD Virginia.
