Sunbelt Toronto North/East Staff
Jack Elias, CBI, P.Eng., joined the Sunbelt Business Brokers network because it was the best organization he could find to help him do what he wanted to do, which was to help owners of businesses realize the benefits of their lifetime of hard work through the sale of those businesses, and help budding entrepreneurs purchase those businesses, and so start down their own path towards financial success. And, the Sunbelt organization fit exactly with Jack?s attitude that any deal that gets done has to be right for both parties! Jack?s successful career included an early period of blue collar work that instilled in him the hard-working values he carries to this day. He spent some time in sales, and some in middle and senior management, and then he spent 15 years as the President of one of the largest elevator companies in Canada. During that period, he acted on behalf of his company in a number of successful acquisitions, and negotiated many more. That started the love of the process, and developed the belief that the fit between the seller and the buyer has to be right, and the terms of the deal have to work for them both. Originally from western Canada, Jack has called Toronto home for 25 years. He received an engineering degree from the University of Manitoba, and has attended numerous Leadership, Sales, Marketing, and Management courses with the International Management Development University in Lausanne, Switzerland. He has also taken the Canadian Securities Course, the Ontario Real Estate Association
