Peter was educated in England and has been resident in the U.S. since 1986. Peter Coleman comes to the business brokerage industry with a background of over 20 years in the publishing, investment banking and the maritime industry. He was a documentary credits specialist and was a member of several international trade delegations to Eastern Europe.
After nearly twenty years in business brokerage, including four years of ownership of his own Sunbelt offices in South Mississippi, he has built up a specialization in health care related businesses, the hospitality industry and franchise resale. Peter completed all the required courses and was awarded the IBBA qualification of Certified Business Intermediary in 2001. He is an accomplished public speaker and often speaks to business groups about the subject of “Maximizing the Value of your Business” and “Preparing your Business for Sale”. In his spare time he has been very involved in coaching Track and Field in local schools, universities and also to Olympic and World Championship level. He is a licensed real estate broker in Nevada as well as a member of IBBA, M&A Source.
He is also a Board Certified Exit Planner through BEI working with Attorneys, CPA’s and Financial Planners to help their clients transition from their businesses to a comfortable retirement.
Len Krick first came to Las Vegas in 1978. He holds a BA in Economics from Muhlenberg College, and two degrees from UNLV, including an MBA. Len is a Certified Business Intermediary (“CBI”), a Merger & Acquisition Master Intermediary (“M&AMI”), and holds a Nevada Real Estate Broker License and Nevada Business Broker Permit. Len is the Co-founder and Vice-Chairman of the Nevada Business Brokers Association.
Mr. Krick has over thirty years of business and business consulting experience. He was co-founder of two companies, and played a key role in their successful initial public offerings on NASDAQ in 1989 and 1992. In the early 1980s, Krick was an Associate in the Leisure Time Industries consulting group of Laventhal & Horwath, CPAs’ Las Vegas office. He also taught several courses at UNLV. Later, he was Senior VP of the Dunes Hotel and Country Club, in Las Vegas, and Senior VP for Development with Casino Magic Corp. in Mississippi. Len’s goal is provide the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality, while minimizing the time and stress typically experienced in negotiating the transfer of ownership of privately-held businesses. Mr. Krick is a Board Member, Chairman of the Education Committee, fellow moderator and speaker for the International Business Brokers Association (“IBBAâ€). He is a member of the Las Vegas Chapter of the Society of Financial Professionals and Financial Planning Association. Alan Horwitz graduated with a degree in Business Entrepreneurship from Indiana University. During a long and distinguished business career as a business sales consultant he has also owned and operated various successful businesses including an advertising company, an Internet distributor, a retail software store and various national franchise restaurants including McDonald’s, Tropical Smoothie Café’s and CiCi’s Pizza.
In addition, Alan has acted as an outside consultant for the Small Business Administration, has been involved in business sales, mergers and acquisitions across almost every industry. Alan is extremely experienced and qualified with regards to both financing and creative deal structuring. Over the last 30 years Alan has been an outside consultant in the area of business valuations and in preparing businesses for a future sale. Alan has sold an extremely high percentage of his listings. Over the last 10 years, Mr. Horwitz has consistently been one of the top ten producing brokers in the Sunbelt Network system. Recent business sales include a Las Vegas Casino, an entire National Franchise System, a Specialty Pharmacy, a large Executive Suites Company and various other Retail businesses, Service businesses, Manufacturers and Distributers.
Mr. Horwitz is familiar with valuing, marketing and selling businesses that range in value from as little as $100,000 to as high as $50 million. In the last 2 years Mr. Horwitz has developed a close and ongoing relationship with MainStreetChamber of Commerce and is now the exclusive broker for their members nationwide. Katrina Jonah is a Certified Value Builder. She has her BA from CU Boulder, CO. She received her JD and LLM (Taxation) from USD in San Diego, CA. She has over 25 years’ experience in exit planning and project management managing a variety of complex project implementations. She came to Las Vegas 25 years ago when there were only around 680,000 people and has watched our city grow to over 2 million people.
Katrina has owned a consulting company for over 30 years and has worked with Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies. Her entrepreneurial spirit allows her to interact with a variety of industries helping business owners determine their exit goals and work on their value drivers to add value to their business. She works with mid-size businesses and helps them navigate the roadmap to a successful sale of their business.

Samuel Baird graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, with an emphasis in mergers and acquisitions, venture finance, and technology commercialization. In addition, to his Juris Doctorate, he obtained his Master in Intellectual Property Management from the Illinois Institute of Technology. While attending school, Samuel successfully built a six-figure consulting business and understands the unique challenges any business owner may face.
Samuel has spent the last decade helping startups and mid-size businesses structure their intangible assets for seed and series funding, along with mergers and acquisitions. Samuel has played a critical role in multi-million-dollar negotiations and acquisitions as an attorney for business sales, land-purchase agreements, patent licenses, and mergers and acquisitions within almost every industry.
