Leon J Panitz, Jr

Lee has a vast experience in business management and ownership. After earning an undergraduate Degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland, he owned and operated a small homebuilding company in Baltimore. In 1978, he moved to Jacksonville and started a homebuilding company. The growth was extraordinary and encompassed Northeast Florida as well as Parts of South East Georgia. This business sold and closed several hundred homes each year. In 1993, Lee sold his company to Beazer Homes, USA and stayed involved as the area President.

He then spent a couple of years working with the Investment Banking firm that sold his Homebuilding Company. He worked throughout the United States selling local building businesses to national Homebuilding firms. Most of these transactions surpassed 100 million dollars each. He has been the owner of Sunbelt Business Brokers of Jacksonville for 15 years until selling to his long-term associate, Wes Greer. Lee is still very involved in helping people buy and sell businesses in the Jacksonville area and well beyond. He is considered an expert as a Intermediary and intends to continue working in this business in the future.
