Erik Todd has spent 25 years learning how businesses work from three sides: as an engineer who designed them, a sales executive who grew them, and an owner who bought, built, and sold them.

He trained as a mechanical engineer and went on to executive leadership roles at GE Vernova, Siemens, a KKR portfolio company, and Goldman-backed EPC Power, with annual responsibility over $1B. That work covered power generation, data centers, food processing, manufacturing, middle market, main street and infrastructure. It also included M&A support across the full cycle, from sourcing and diligence through integration.

He has owned businesses throughout his career. These include a utility services company, a holding company with bars, restaurants, bowling centers, skating centers, shopping centers, and a yacht brokerage.

Today Erik advises owners of companies with $1M up to $249M in revenue on selling their businesses, and helps buyers find companies worth owning. He looks at a neighborhood bar or an industrial manufacturer the same way a serious buyer would: how it makes money, where the risk sits, and what it is really worth.
