Jeffrey Bury Ph.D., M.Ed., CBI, SMS B, OREA, CREIM is a member of the International Business Brokers Association where he is a Certified Business Intermediary, past member of Sunbelt Presidents Advisory Council, a Certified Main Street Business Broker and holds extensive business background in the public and private sector both domestically and internationally as a senior executive. Jeff is a licensed real estate agent, is president of the FAAA and is a Certified Real Estate Investor Manager. Jeff was a previous officer and Board of Director of the Pro Football Hall of Fame Club in Canton, Ohio, and is a Rotarian where he is a Paul Harris Fellow and held numerous committee chair positions.
Prior to assuming the president/CEO responsibility of Sunbelt Business Brokers of Northern Ohio, Jeffrey ran two private companies over the past twenty years in addition to holding key corporate executive positions. Bury sharpened his marketing and business development skills out of college at Proctor & Gamble. Next he tackled the Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Business Development positions at Wyandot Corporation. Bury then assumed the Executive Vice President and Corporate Director position as a Board of Directors member at Stoller’s Corporation.
Dr. Bury holds his Bachelor of Science of Management Degree, Master’s Degree, and Ph.D. in Business with concentrations in Marketing and International Business. He is also named a lifelong member of Delta Mu Delta for executives who dedicate time at Universities. Jeffrey enjoys evaluating, packaging, marketing and selling businesses by aligning individuals with business opportunities.
Jeff and his two sons exceled in football playing in five Bowl Games and three All Star games including one NFL All Star game among the three family members. As a former Purdue University football player, Bury enjoyed watching his older son, Brian, a former scholarship football player for Michigan State being named to the All Big 10 Academic Team and numerous brief stints in NFL camps. Brian is now a marketing executive with a prominent global consumer packaged goods company. And Brad, also a former scholarship football player for the University of Cincinnati, where he was named to the All Big East Academic Football Team, is now a corporate litigation attorney.
