I’ve been involved in many aspects of business since I was a young child. My parents owned and sold the following businesses throughout the years: Chevrolet Dealership, John Deere Dealership, wholesale auto auction, liquor store, laundry mat, and a clothing store to name a few, as well as quite a bit of farm land. With that being said, in the summer I would tag along with them and I learned the ebbs and flows of how things worked. When I was old enough I would answer the phones, take messages, and acknowledge the customer anytime I could.
I learned a lot doing during those years, mainly that customer service is very important. If you treat people right, they will come back. After High School, I decided I wanted to be in the travel industry, so I went to travel school and got my certification. I went on to work for EDS in the corporate travel industry for 10 years.
I then decided I wanted to be closer to home and went into the auction business with my mom and brother for about 10 years. I learned a lot about how to obtain car titles, and the way the automotive business works in general. Soon after I left this business I went into factoring / financing trucks and trailers for a company out of Canada. I worked with them for about 2 years and then they decided they wanted to move the sales team to Canada and I just didn’t want to make the move. After this and to present time I went into the house flipping business, which has been both challenging and rewarding. I think that I bring experience and knowledge on buying / selling businesses both big and small.
I’m really comfortable talking to people and I think being a recruiter is going to fit right in my wheelhouse and will benefit you as well. I’m looking forward to helping you purchase your next business, give me a call.
