Office Owner
Charlie Broadwater, Owner & Managing Partner of Sunbelt Richmond is a native of Gate City, Virginia. Prior to becoming a business intermediary, he worked in the financial services industry for 27 years. He held executive positions with Bank of America (NationsBank) and has extensive experience in accounting, contract law, loan structuring, sales & marketing. He has a B.S. degree in Management from Virginia Tech, a MBA from East Tennessee State University and is a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking, University of Deleware. Mr. Broadwater has been awarded the distinctive designations of Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) and Mergers & Acquisitions Master Intermediary (M&AMI). The International Business Brokers Association awards these prestigious designations to members that have satisfied the educational requirements, demonstrated their professional competence and follow the ethical standards of the IBBA. He also holds the Certified Machinery and Equipment Appraiser designation. He is recognized nationally for his work as a business intermediary and serves as a course instructor for the IBBA.

Wayne is a graduate Mechanical Engineer and Certified Energy Manager with over 37 years of industry experience in engineered services for the building trades field with Johnson Controls, Robertshaw/Barber Colman, Siebe/Invensys. As a Senior Corporate officer Wayne was responsible for multiple North American business units in excess of $250 Million. This responsibility included numerous business acquisitions and disposals.
Most recently as founder and CEO of Dominion Energy Management, a local engineering and contracting firm, Wayne sold his business through Sunbelt.

Ron grew up in Virginia, spending his formative years in Richmond and Fredericksburg. After majoring in Business at the University of Maryland he embarked on a career in computer consulting as a Business Analyst working both independently and for such sizable firms as RCA Service Company and General Electric Aerospace.
As an independent, he has contracted to such well known names as State Farm Insurance and AOL, but has also done a significant amount of both business and automation consulting with many small businesses from distributers to retailers.

Bruce Hobart entered the business brokerage field in 2002. He is a native of WV, holds a BA in Economics & Business from King College, Bristol, TN with continuing study at UVA, VCU, College of William and Mary and the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers. Bruce has 30+ years experience in private banking, commercial real estate finance, real estate appraisal, consulting and commercial sales/leasing. Win Luther has been a full time, professional business broker since 1992. Previously, he was with the Virginia Chamber of Commerce for 25 years and served as the State Chamber's chief executive officer from 1981 to 1992. Win is a native of Southwest Virginia (Bluefield) and is a graduate of the College of William & Mary. He has lived and worked in Richmond since 1967 when he was released from the Army after a tour of duty in Viet Nam.
