Sunbelt of Saskatchewan

Barry was actively looking to buy a business in the spring of 2008 when he contacted Sunbelt Business Brokers. He was so intrigued by Sunbelt and its global network of over 300 independently owned business brokerage offices that he decided to open his own office. Barry has his CMA (Certified Management Accountant) and CBI (Certified Business Intermediary) professional designations and his broker designation with the Saskatchewan Real Estate Commission.�

Barry has over 25 years of experience working with small, medium and large sized businesses in Saskatchewan. Experience which includes new business start-ups, acquisitions, mergers and reorganizations as well as providing business management and advisory services covering a wide range of business issues. He is now putting this experience to work by helping current business owners successfully sell their business to the right buyer and helping buyers acquire the right business.

Wendell graduated from the Univerity of Saskatchewan in 1989 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree. Subsequent to that, he articled with a Chartered Accounting firm in Calgary and then went on to be Controller for a number of private Companies in Calgary and Saskatoon. In 2006, Wendell started working with Sunbelt Business Brokers, with it's head office in Ottawa. In 2007, Wendell obtained his broker designation with the Saskatchewan Real Estate Commission and opened the Sunbelt office in Saskatoon, one of 29 offices in Canada. He has since obtained his Certified Business Intermediary designation through the International Business Brokers Association. Born and raised in Saskatchewan, Wendell is committed to assisting Saskatchewan Business Owners sell their businesses and helping Buyers, both local and distant, purchase profitable Saskatchewan based businesses that are suitable for them.
