Dwayne M. Mitchell – CBI is a broker and licensed realtor of the Sunbelt office serving the Kitchener, Waterloo, Guelph, Brampton, and surrounding areas. Sunbelt is the premiere Merger & Acquisition Firm, dominating its local markets through superior services from professional brokers using effective marketing programs and supported by appropriate technology, large national and international networks, and proven methodology.
Having owned several businesses and multiple investment properties for over 15 years, he has received much knowledge and expertise in buying, selling, and restructuring businesses. Through this experience he has honed negotiation skills that will aid owners in finding practical solutions.
He was a director of the Waterloo Region Apartment Management Association and a member of the Real Estate Investment Network. He received the “Outstanding Citizen Award” in 2001.
Dwayne was in the process of selling his current business when he was introduced to the Sunbelt Business Brokers and was impressed with their due diligence and methods of marketing and selling businesses. He joined the Sunbelt team in 2009 and trained in Ottawa. He is one of only a handful of people in Canada that hold a Certified Business Intermediate (CBI), which is the highest designation by the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA). Based on his work experience prior to Sunbelt, he specializes in middle market companies privately held with annual revenues of 1 to 20 million.
Mr. Mitchell’s commitments to his clients are second to none and he maintains the highest level of confidentiality in the transaction details. His advisory team consists of tax lawyers, business lawyers, financial advisors and chartered accountants. His level of professionalism will ensure a smooth transaction for both buyers and sellers.
Dwayne enjoys long drive golf and is currently completing his Commercial Pilot’s license. When he’s not spending time with his wife and 3 sons, he volunteers at Ray of Hope in Kitchener.
