His breadth of experience, across the country and worldwide, both strategic and “hands-on”, in operations and finance, has given him a keen perspective on the challenges and opportunities presented to small and mid-sized businesses and the issues faced by their owners in seeking to convert the equity in their companies into cash and other investments. He is particularly skilled in developing innovative and cost-effective solutions to problems arising in business sale and financing transactions.
A member of the International Business Brokers Association, he holds a Certified Business Intermediary designation as well as a CBB (Certified Business Broker) from the California Association of Business Brokers. He received his MBA from San Francisco State University. Previously, he served as a Navy SEAL where he was assigned to the Apollo Space Capsule Recovery Unit.
Phil has been honored for exceptional community service with awards for his extensive work with such organizations as the American Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, the Alameda Food Bank and The San Francisco Foundation. He lives with his wife in Alameda, CA and enjoys flying, scuba diving and long-distance bicycle touring.

She has direct experience in the ownership and management of small business and has served as Controller and Finance Director in several organizations. Her industry experience includes winery and vineyard development and operations, manufacturing, telecommunications, financial services, wholesale distribution, retail merchandising and construction.
Roxanne is a member of the California Association of Business Brokers and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She received her degree from Sonoma State University for her studies in Business Management and Accounting. An advocate of the active life style, she particularly enjoys long-distance road biking, boating, and camping.
As a financial consultant, Seth has analyzed business opportunities for specialized retail operations across the country. His work has ranged widely from advising potential investor interests on the desirability of retail operations in alternative specialty mall locations, through the application of complex document and information management systems for professional firms, to the development of sports training systems and facilities. His degree in Law from the University of Denver has served as the foundation for his insights into the protection and transfer of intellectual property rights for the entrepreneur.
Seth is a member of the California Association of Business Brokers (CABB®) and the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA®). He earned a degree in Financial Economics from St. Anselm College. After college, Seth competed internationally in alpine ski racing and now lives with his wife in Sausalito where they enjoy kayaking and cycling.
His very broad industrial experience includes work with solar energy engineering, software design and development and myriad financial services offerings As the former CFO of an innovative firm using solar-powered applications for surveillance and management systems, he has a particular expertise and interest in “Green” products, processes and services, in helping the development of viable, salable businesses from them, and arranging the sale of those businesses at the best time and with the best financial structure.
Ray earned a degree in Public Administration from the University of California at Los Angeles. A Member of the National Association of Corporate Directors, the National Investment Banking Association and the Financial Services Exchange, he has earned an extensive series of supervisory licenses from the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) including Registered Options Principal, General Principal, Financial & Operations Principal, Investment Banking Supervisor and Registered Investment Adviser. He lives in Belmont with his wife and their pedigree Whippet Hounds and he is an avid BMW motorcyclist.
Steve has a comprehensive understanding of the strategies and processes for preparing and positioning a business for sale and for finding and matching the appropriate buyer for it. He helps business owners develop an exit strategy that secures an orderly succession and converts the equity in their business into the maximum income stream with the minimum tax impact.
He is a Certified Business Intermediary with the International Business Brokers Association, received his MBA and a degree in Economics from Stanford University, as well as a JD from the University of California School of Law in Berkeley. He and his family are avid Alpine and Nordic skiers and enjoy high altitude hiking and camping. Steve pursues lifelong interests in musical performance and photography.
