Charlie Broadwater, Co-Owner & Managing Partner of Sunbelt Richmond is a native of Gate City, Virginia. Prior to becoming a business intermediary, he worked in the financial services industry for 27 years. He held executive positions with Bank of America (NationsBank) and has extensive experience in accounting, contract law, loan structuring, sales & marketing. He has a B.S. degree in Management from Virginia Tech, a MBA from East Tennessee State University and is a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking, University of Deleware. Mr. Broadwater has been awarded the distinctive designations of Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) and Mergers & Acquisitions Master Intermediary (M&AMI). The International Business Brokers Association awards these prestigious designations to members that have satisfied the educational requirements, demonstrated their professional competence and follow the ethical standards of the IBBA. He also holds the Certified Machinery and Equipment Appraiser designation. He is recognized nationally for his work as a business intermediary and serves as a course instructor for the IBBA. |
