Mr. Jerow is a Senior Consultant with Sunbelt Business Brokers. John has nearly 40 years of experience with major international firms, including 30 years as a Vice President at JP Morgan Chase. At Chase, his experiences were entirely directed to serving the needs of small and mid-sized businesses and their owners. He spent 2½ years full-time as an Instructor in Chase’s Credit Training Program, teaching new bankers business finance, risk analysis, and corporate management.
All of his working career, John has worked with and understands the needs of the entrepreneurial business person and their spirit. He understands how mid-size businesses work, what is important to them, and, most importantly, what makes them successful. Because of his in-depth knowledge of business management and finance, he has the ability to communicate between people with divergent interests to achieve consensus and solutions. No deals get done without well structured solutions.
Prior to Chase, John was in senior positions with Hertz Truck Rental and Leasing, U.S. Leasing, Ford Motor Credit, and Dun & Bradstreet. Besides banking, John has an extensive background in equipment finance and leasing with particular expertise in construction and transportation equipment, computer gear, and the graphic arts.
John has a BA in History from Saint Bernard College and an MBA from Northern Illinois University. He also attended Northern Illinois University School of Law. Active in community affairs, John is on the Randolph Township Planning Board and a past Chairman. He previously was the President of the Randolph Township Library Board of Trustees.

Jerome completed his formal education at Monmouth University in West Long Branch, New Jersey where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Management in 1988.
Jerome has over 20 years worth of business experience in the Business Office Equipment, Medical Products, and Franchising industries where he has worked for and received numerous awards & achievements from companies such as Xerox, Johnson & Johnson Medical, Baxter Healthcare Corporation and Fantastic Sams Franchised Hair Salons.
In July 2001, Jerome and his business partners founded Global Franchising Group, LLC located in East Brunswick, NJ where he served as Regional Owner, Director of Franchise Sales and Real Estate Development. Global Franchising Group served as the Master Franchisee and Sub-franchisor in North Jersey & Northern Eastern, PA for Fantastic Sams franchised hair salons. As a Sub -franchisor, Jerome helped his franchisees with marketing, management, advertising, finding real estate, training, and obtaining business financing. Jerome was also one of the owners of a Fantastic Sams hair salon in Lawrenceville, NJ. Jerome is one of the principals of Global Franchising Consultants, LLC also located in New Jersey. GFC’s purpose is to help prospective franchise owners learn about the many choices available and determine how to select the right franchise business. Jerome is also the owner of National Franchise Ventures which is a consultant company that assists other Master Franchisees in developing their regional franchise concepts.
Jerome is a current member of the International Franchise Association’s Minorities in Franchising Committee, 2006 & 2007 International Franchise Association Convention Speaker, Featured in the December 2006 issue of Franchise Interviews online magazine, serves as a member of the Diversity Board for Merrill Lynch of Red Bank, New Jersey. Jerome has served as a Board member of the Monmouth University Alumni Association, as member of the Greater Princeton Jaycees, and participated in the United Way Big Brothers Program as a mentor.
