Len Krick, the owner of the Las Vegas office, is a ten-year Las Vegas resident, holds a BA in Economics from Muhlenberg College, and two degrees from UNLV, including an MBA. Len is a Certified Business Intermediary ("CBI"), a Merger & Acquisition Master Intermediary ("M&AMI"), and holds a Nevada Real Estate Broker License. Mr. Krick has over twenty years of business and business consulting experience. He was cofounder of two companies, and played a key role in their successful initial public offerings on NASDAQ in 1989 and 1992. In the early 1980s, Krick was an Associate in the Leisure Time Industries consulting group of Laventhal & Horwath, CPAs' Las Vegas office. He also taught several courses at UNLV. Later, he was Senior VP of the Dunes Hotel and Country Club, in Las Vegas, and Senior VP for Development with Casino Magic Corp. in Mississippi. Len's goal is provide the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality, while minimizing the time and stress typically experienced in negotiating the transfer of ownership of privately-held businesses. Mr. Krick is an active member, moderator and speaker for the International Business Brokers Association ("IBBA"), the Las Vegas Business Forum, and the Las Vegas CFO Group.

Bruce Hooker

Bruce Hooker has lived in Las Vegas for over three years, developing a thorough understanding of this marketplace. He received a B.S. from UCLA with a double major in finance and accounting. He has also done extensive post-graduate work. Mr. Hooker has held several senior level executive positions with small and middle-sized companies, in the manufacturing and distribution industries. Alan Horwitz graduated with a degree in Business Entrepreneurship from Indiana University. During a long and distinguished business career he has owned and operated various successful businesses including national franchise restaurants, an advertising company, an Internet distributor and a retail software store. In addition, he acted as an outside consultant for the Small Business Administration. Over the last 30 years Alan has been an outside consultant in the area of business valuations and in preparing businesses for a future sale. Alan has sold an extremely high percentage of his listings. During 2004, 2005, and 2006, Mr. Horwitz was one of the top ten producing brokers in the Sunbelt Network system. Jacob Orosz spent his early years working in his family manufacturing business as salesperson and operations manager. Upon sale of the company, Jacob became the sales coordinator for a $40million publicly traded pharmaceuticals company. He established a nationwide distribution channel through pharmacies and medical practitioners for several of the company's pharmaceutical products. Jacob was introduced to business brokerage in Cleveland, Ohio in 2001. In Ohio, he had over 40 businesses for sale and was highly regarded by his clients with his prompt follow up, attention to detail, and integrity. Jacob realized he found his passion and toured the country meeting with 25 business brokerage firms, and decided to join the Sunbelt office in Las Vegas; United Business Brokers. Jacob believes that half of selling a business is dealing with people and understanding psychology and has undergone studies through the Graduate School of Coaching. Jacob holds a Nevada Real Estate License and Business Broker Permit and specializes in business sales.
 
 
Jerry Parsons

Jerry Parsons earned his BS from Oklahoma State University, with a double major Economics & Marketing, he also earned his MBA in Economics from Florida State University. Mr. Parsons has held several executive positions with tire and automotive related companies both in the U.S. and Central and South America over the years. In addition, he has owned and operated his own stores in California. After selling these stores to Toyota, he started a business brokerage practice in California. After selling his interest to his partner, Mr. Parsons relocated to Las Vegas, and holds real estate licenses in Nevada and Colorado. Jerry is a Rotarian, Paul Harris fellow, and served in the U.S. Navy. He has a wonderful "Can-Do" attitude, and takes the apprehension out of buying, selling, or merging any type of business. Mr. Parsons has a good feel for buying and selling companies of all kinds ranging from $100,000 to over $25,000,000, and has a talent for expressing complex ideas in friendly, simple language that Buyers and Seller understand.
 
 
Sam Sinopoli

Sam Sinopoli entered real estate in 1976 and did commercial real estate and business brokerage until 1985 when he built and operated four Subway Sandwich and Salads franchises in Orange County, California.

In 1990 he purchased an existing RE/MAX real estate franchise in Rancho Cucamonga, California and built the office up to 55 agents and added an escrow and mortgage division.

Sam moved to Las Vegas in 1994 and continued his real estate career until 1997. At that time he joined PaineWebber as an Investment Advisor. In the year 2000 he joined Smith Barney as an Investment Consultant.

In the year 2004 Sam became an independent Registered Investment Advisor to high net worth indviduals and trusts and still works with a selected few accounts.

Sam rejoined the real estate and business brokerage business in 2005 and has associated with United Business Brokers to represent and help business owners maximize the return on possibly the biggest investment of their lives.

Ms. Bettina Smilo-Gold earned her MBA in Management from Golden Gate University and her BA in Political Science from George Washington University. Ms. Gold has had a successful career in sales, business development, marketing, strategic alliances and project management. She has held positions as Vice President of Marketing, Vice President of Business Development, and Director of Channel Marketing Management in various industry sectors such as technology, healthcare, financial services, and education. Ms. Smilo-Gold key achievements in business include reaching and exceeding targeted revenues goals and market share, achieving higher customer retention rates, and decreasing operational costs. Her extensive research and analysis expertise was earned from her affiliation with The Gartner Group/ Dataquest, the largest information technology research advisory firm in the world. She has brokered consulting services and partnership agreements successfully to leverage core competencies between organizations. She is co-author of a seminar entitled "Effective Business Writing for the 21st Century" (Copyright 1999). Matt Waymire

Matt Waymire has lived in Las Vegas for over 27 years and is currently Executive Vice President of the CEO/CFO Group of Southern Nevada.

After earning his BA in Accounting from UNLV, he served in both Audit and Emerging Business Services sections of the Las Vegas based office of Deloitte and Touche. Subsequently, Matt was engaged in CFO, Controller, and COO positions for several successful turnaround management operations. While managing his own CPA practice for 14 years, he participated in both seller and buyer due diligence efforts for clients. As a result of these experiences with United Business Broker clients, he decided to become a business broker and provide value added representation for business owners.

His industry expertise includes but is not limited to general contracting, casino showroom entertainment, wireless cable television and broadcasting, radio, fine art management, commuter air carriers and tour operations, aviation repair, advertising agencies, manufacturing, waste management, stock brokerage, mortgage banking, real estate development and property management, and retail.

Matt also has owned a successful accounting software company and a Mexican restaurant. He understands the challenges facing small business owners from both sides of the ledger.
