For ten years now this business has been steadily busy building machinery for their clients. These clients are Ontario manufacturers who are making their products here and not importing from Asia. They range from window and millwork manufacturers to plastic moulders. There are approximately thirty projects a year, with about ten larger ones and twenty smaller. There is currently a solid backlog of work and the seller never does any proactive marketing. There is a staff of five. Clients are very happy with the work and there is a lot of repeat business. A new owner may want to implement some basics to improve the efficiency of the operation. For example, currently shop drawings are done manually with no CAD support.
The seller is retiring but will support a long transition to a new owner. The ideal buyer may already be in a similar business and can combine this company with their own.
