Tim is a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a BS in Chemical Engineering and started his career in chemical sales with a fortune 500 company. After several successful years in chemical sales, Tim had the opportunity to purchase his first business which he owned and operated over an 8 year period. This business was in the specialty contracting industry and grew in size and value and was eventually sold. Tim purchased another business in the retail paint industry and operated that business for another 2 years whereupon the business was again successfully sold to a new owner. The involvement of buying and selling his own businesses lead Tim to pursue an opportunity with Sunbelt Business Brokers. Tim purchased the Sunbelt Augusta, GA / Aiken, SC territory in 1998 and later purchased the Savannah, GA territory in 2000. Over the years Tim has been involved in over 100 sales of businesses large and small where his experience and expertise has provided for a smooth transition of the business from the sellers to the buyers. Tim is a member of the International Business Brokers Association and is a candidate for the Certified Business Intermediary accreditation. He is also a licensed real estate broker in the states of Georgia and South Carolina. |

Carroll attended Georgia Southern University where he successfully graduated with a degree in Public Relations. Carroll then spent sixteen years in the extended agri-business industry which afforded him the opportunity to purchase an insurance agency specializing in long-haul trucking in 1990. This lucrative agency focused on providing insurance for the robust trucking industry of Georgia. In 1999, Carroll purchased a second insurance agency that provided personal insurance to the local population. After profitably running these two agencies, he decided it was time to sell in 2006. Carroll's previous business experience in buying and selling has given him extensive knowledge and a great foundation as a Business Broker. Carroll has the expertise needed to successfully help business owner's and business buyers to effectively sell and buy profitable businesses as well. Carroll joined the Sunbelt team in December of 2007 after receiving his credentials as a business broker. He is a licensed real estate agent in the State of Georgia. Carroll and his wife Carolyn have two daughters and two grandsons and live in Millen, Georgia. |

Jerry was previously a Sergeant Major in the Federal Military Service for 30 years gaining experience and knowledge in personnel and resource management, procurement procedures, and property accountability for both equipment and real estate. After a short time with a Century 21 real estate office, Jerry moved to Prudential Beazley Real Estate in April 1998 as a new homes agent. With over 12 years of real estate sales experience he has conducted numerous real estate transactions and achieved numerous awards including the highest recognition as Top Producer. Most recently Jerry was the site sales manager at a new homes development before changing his career path to focus on commercial real estate and business brokerage. Furthermore, Jerry is currently involved with the organization of two development companies who develop and build commercial complexes throughout the area. Born in Korea, Sonny Lee came to the United States in 1985. With English as a second language, Sonny decided it was best for her and her future to open a business in Tennessee. Successful for 3 years, she decided that the business just wasn't for her. She then decided to get into real estate in 1996. Sonny became a residential realtor in Tennessee. During that time, she became apart of the Million Dollar Club, and the Multi-Million Dollar Club. In 2000, Sonny moved to Augusta, Georgia becoming a commercial real estate agent. Since then, Sonny has become a life member of the Circle of Excellence Club and a vice president. She then moved to Sunbelt to better assist her clients. Sonny is also licensed in both Georgia and South Carolina. During her free time, Sonny enjoys music. She majored in music at Kyong Hee University in Korea. In addition, the majority of his experience has been related to the automotive industry as a general manager, finance manager and credit analyst. Tim recently retired from the automotive industry as a finance director to pursue his interest in Business Brokerage. From his extensive experience as it related to finances, Tim is well equipped to understand and negotiate business documents as they relate to the sale of a business.
