He began his career as a University instructor. In the early eighties he joined a major oil company, developed a number of new technologies and merged those into a startup business unit. The business grew rapidly providing M & A opportunities. In the late eighties he became the managing partner of a large job shop servicing hundreds businesses in the Chicagoland area. Before forming Sunbelt Business Brokers of Greater Chicago, Inc., he served as an independent business consultant in the area of international joint venturing. Doug is a member of the International Business Brokers Association, The Society of Business Analysts and the National Equipment and Business Brokers Institute. He is an IBBA Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) and has the further distinction of carrying both the SBA (Senior Business Analyst) and CMEA (Certified Machinery and Equipment Appraiser) designations.

You need JavaScript enabled to view it	A native of Chicago, Tim graduated from Northern Illinois University with a degree in Finance. He later returned to NIU where he earned a Masters degree in Business Administration with specialization in Accounting. In 1974 he joined Harrington Tideman O'Leary and Company where over the years he held offices of Vice-President, Secretary and President. In 1993 he joined the Anderson Shroud Group as a Senior Vice President. In 1996, Tim founded O'Leary Realty Corp., a commercial/industrial real estate marketing and management company. He is the only person in the state of Illinois to hold three of the most prestigious designations in the commercial / industrial real estate industry. He is a CRE, a member of SIOR and a CCIM. Tim's relaxed, engaging style has created a large circle of Chicago friends and business associates.
