Judy is a licensed real estate agent in the state of Illinois. She has more than thirty years of experience in marketing and finance, many of those years dedicated to executive management. She headed the model design shop for the architecture and planning firm Skidmore Owings and Merrill, and spent twenty years as a business manager for an international advertising agency and broadcast production. Judy attended St. Xavier University and the University of Illinois, and her degree work included a strong emphasis in accounting, public relations, marketing, communications and business management. Judy also has a degree in floral design, and for years managed a business specializing high-end arrangements, handling all wholesale and retail sales. For much of her life she has been active in charity fundraisers to assist needy and special needs children; she is a member of the St. Jude Children's Research Foundation and a Partner in Hope member of the Arthritis Foundation. She lives in Chicago, close to her four married children and ten grandchildren.
