Dave Ball, Owner of Sunbelt Business Brokers of Pittsburgh, is also a Business Intermediary that brings a wealth of experience and a track record of success to the Pittsburgh and Southwestern Pennsylvania market.
A graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Dave earned a B.S. degree in Management. Immediately upon graduation, he entered the U.S. Army as an officer. His tour of duty took him to Georgia, South Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Kentucky, South Korea, Saudi Arabia and Iraq. He attended both military and civilian schools to further his professional development. As an instructor at a military school, Dave taught officers how to train, teach & counsel their subordinates and also was responsible for instilling the highest levels of honesty, integrity and professionalism in all students. As an Airborne Paratrooper and Air Assault qualified soldier, Dave was assigned to the prestigious 101st Airborne Division and 2nd Infantry Division.
After his departure from the Army, Dave moved back to South Western Pennsylvania where he began consulting for businesses with logistical and management issues. One of his clients hired him and was quickly promoted to Vice President of a $60 million a year sales, service and manufacturing company. During his years of service with this company, he was involved in marketing, management, acquisitions, sales and strategic planning.
Dave left Corporate America to open the first Sunbelt office in Western Pennsylvania. His Pittsburgh office has been involved in many business transactions over the last few years that include both small and large businesses. The types of businesses include manufacturing, distribution, business service, service, retail, and food related businesses. His office continues to grow and provides additional services including: Professional Independent Business Valuations for both buyers and sellers, local and national financial institutions to assist both buyers and sellers in acquiring and selling their business, business plan preparation, and franchise information. Dave is a member of the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA) and is married to wife, Lori, and has one son, Joshua.
