Dave Ball is the owner of Sunbelt Business Brokers of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dave purchased his first Sunbelt Office in 1998 and earned the designation of CBI (Certified Business Intermediary) from the International Business Brokers Association in 2000. Dave has experience representing companies from $100,000 to over $25,000,000 in revenue. He has personally participated in the sale of well over 100 business transactions.
Prior to joining Sunbelt, Dave was a Vice President for sales, marketing and customizing company in the aviation industry. Before departing to establish his Sunbelt Office, he helped the company grow to $62,000,000+ in revenue. Dave was also an Officer in the U.S. Army for 8+ years. His last duty assignment was with the 101st Airborne Division and was a company commander during the Gulf War. Dave was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for his actions. He is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a degree in business.
Dave is a member of the International Business Brokers Association, Pennsylvania Business Brokers Association and the Sunbelt Network. In 2003 he was elected to the Sunbelt President's Council and held the office of Secretary until 2005. He was then elected to the Board Of Directors for Sunbelt and holds the office of Secretary.
In 2005, DaveÂ’s Office was awarded the 2004 "Office of the Year" award during Sunbelt's Annual Convention. Nominees and the selected recipient for this prestigious award are made from among peers in the Sunbelt Network. The annual award is designed to honor recipients based upon tenure in the industry, outstanding achievement and professional performance, their leadership role in assisting others in reaching their full potential, dedication to the industry, and being an exemplary role model in their conduct and community service. The successful recipient displays superior knowledge of the profession and actively demonstrates the advancement of the industry.
Dave is married to his wife, Lori, and together they have one son, Joshua.

Lori is the Franchise Sales Consultant for Sunbelt Business Brokers of Pittsburgh. She is a graduate of Robert Morris University with a Degree in Business Management with a Marketing emphasis. Lori spent 15 years in the aviation industry enabling her to fine tune her marketing abilities and overall business acumen. Lori joined the Sunbelt Pittsburgh team in 2002 and hasn't looked back. She and her husband, Dave, have one son, Joshua.

He began his career in the business brokerage industry in 1987 in Orlando Florida under the tutelage of David Brown. He has owned, operated and successfully sold several businesses in the last thirty years, and is knowledgeable in retail, manufacturing, distribution, service, and tooling industries.
