Lanier Chew, CBI, CMEA. Lanier Chew is the owner of the Sunbelt office in Mobile, Alabama and founding partner of the Pensacola, Florida office. Lanier has over 28 years experience in running and owning a chain of retail business, he also has 4 years experience in mortgage banking and has a clear understanding of how to work with Baking and SBA lenders. Lanier is a tested and certified Senior Member of the National Equipment and Business Brokers Institute in the field of Machinery and Equipment Appraisal and has earned the professional designation Certified Machinery and Equipment Appraiser (CMEA). Lanier also has earned the professional designation of Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) by the International Business Brokers Association. He also serves as an Independent Business Consultant in the area of business valuations for Gulf Coast Financial. Additionally, he is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Alabama. Lanier has owned the offices of Sunbelt Business Brokers in Mobile, Alabama and Pensacola, Florida since 1994. Leonard Allen is a Senior Broker with Sunbelt in the Mobile Alabama office. He has been married to Leigh Allen for 28 years. Leonard has 2 daughters; Katherine, the oldest is a sophomore at University of Alabama and is maintaining a 3.8 GPA.
His youngest daughter, Caroline, is a junior in high school. Caroline was recently inducted in the National Honor Society.
Leonard is a graduate of University of South Alabama with a degree in Business Administration.
Before coming on board with Sunbelt Business Brokers, Leonard owned a chain of 3 dry cleaning stores for a period of 23 years. He specialized in smoke and water restoration for all of Mobile and panhandle of Florida. Leonard used Sunbelt to sell his business and so enjoyed the experience that he joined the Mobile team and soon became a Senior Broker.
Leonard is very active in Kiwanis Club and other area civic organizations, and is very involved with Promise Keepers. He was the Event Coordinator when the National convention came to Mobile.
Some of his past times include Tennis, Basketball, Beach Volleyball, and snow skiing.
Leonard loves dealing with people in all walks of life in providing the services that both buyer and seller is comfortable with.

Michael Wettermark received a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Notre Dame (yes, the one with the lousy football team). In the early part of his career, he worked his way through the corporate ranks to become a Division Engineering Manager for a Fortune 200 company. After extensive continuing education in Accounting and Finance, he became the Division Marketing Manager for that same company.
He returned to his hometown of Mobile AL in 1990 and started a manufacturing company selling to Aerospace, Defense, and Industrial accounts. In 2000, he was approached by a German/Japanese joint venture that wanted a presence in the United States. The company that he founded was sold. Michael continued on as a Manufacturing Consultant starting manufacturing facilities in Georgia and California.
After a few years of spending over 200 nights per year in a hotel, he made the decision to sleep in his own bed each night. He wanted to become a part of the oldest, largest, and most respected Business Brokerage Network in the world. He joined the Mobile office of Sunbelt Business Brokers.
