Domenic Rinaldi is president and managing partner of Sunbelt Chicago. He is a seasoned executive who brings over 22 years of proven experience in sales, service, marketing and operations to the business brokerage arena. Domenic's career began at Sprint Corp, where he spent 13 years in sales and operations. As VP of their Hospitality Marketing Group, he led a national organization to $250 million in annual revenue. His experience as Chief Operating Officer of an e-commerce travel company offered the opportunity to grow a Silicon Valley startup into an international solutions provder. Additionally, Domenic's small business experience running a New York City technology company gave him first hand knowledge of the challenges facing business owners. It was at this privately held company he learned the business of raising venture capital and driving a small company to profitability, which ultimately resulted in acquisition.
Domenic is recognized by colleagues and associates as a leader with determination and integrity. Scott Evert, Region Manager and owner for Sunbelt in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Chicago is a licensed business broker, with over 18 years experience of buying and selling businesses. Mr. Evert has obtained the Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) designation from the International Business Brokers Association. In addition, Mr. Evert is a financial partner in several businesses. Mr. Evert began his career in the early 80's, when he founded a video distribution business that grew to over $10 million in sales with over 100 employees. He subsequently sold his company to Major Video Concepts, a $400 million distributor and became its V.P. of Sales. During his ten year career with Major, Mr. Evert initiated many strategic acquisitions and divestures of companies that ranged in size from $100k-$20 million in sales, as well being instrumental in a $50 million acquisition. In addition, Mr. Evert helped facilitate the sale or acquisition for many of Major's clients. Mr. Evert joined Sunbelt in 2000.

Don has owned several small businesses, been an active real estate investor and is a former senior business executive with experience in acquisitions, sales, service, marketing, operations, accounting, finance, and consulting.
Don spent over thirty years in executive management roles with a multi-billion dollar hardware distributor and a pet supplies distributor where he gained invaluable experience interacting with retailers. He also gained manufacturing insight as General Manager for two manufacturers and a steel wire distributor.
Don?s acquisition of a Tanning and Wellness Spa gave him hands-on experience using a Business Broker in purchasing a small business. He also owns a 250-unit vending company which gives him direct contact with many Main Street businesses; including restaurants, bars, beauty salons, fitness facilities, nail salons, auto repair, wireless communications, motels, and a variety of other retail businesses.

Richard owned and operated two businesses in the Chicago area. Early in his career he ran a small public warehouse specializing in food syrups and flavorings. For the past twenty five years Richard owned a freight brokerage business with annual sales in excess of ten million dollars. Having operated such a significant business, Richard wore many hats and is intimately familiar with all facets of a small business including sales, marketing, operations, accounting, and, of course, cash flow generation and management. Jim's business experience as a seasoned operations and financial executive includes more than 30 years in industry and professional services. He served on the Board of Directors at Amerequip Corporation, a manufacturer of tractor attachments for the OEM marketplace. There he had a variety of operational and financial responsibilities, serving as VP Supply Management and Planning, and VP Finance. Jim was instrumental in implementing many successful operational improvements resulting in improved cash flow and return on capital invested. He was instrumental in the transfer of the ownership of the Company by developing business plans, projections, and financial models demonstrating the benefits of the transition.
Jim's industrial experience also includes Bell Helicopter, IBM, and International Harvester. For a significant portion of his career he provided consulting services to clients through the management advisory services of the CPA firms Ernst & Young and McGladrey and Pullen. This provided Jim with experience in a wide scope of industries by serving clients ranging in size from the smallest proprietorships to major Fortune 500 companies.
