Following his undergraduate studies in 1983, Pete was commissioned in military service and designated a Naval Aviator upon successful completion of flight school. After 8 years of service, Peter became responsible for the North American business development of a European medical technology start-up organization. During this period he successfully completed multiple million dollar therapeutic development contracts with Fortune 100 medical corporations, directly contributing to a successful European IPO. Additionally, Mr. Nilsen also was responsible for North American strategic acquisitions, resulting in an aggressive industry roll-up of corporate divestitures and middle market firms, enabling the US subsidiary to achieve number one market positions in medical diagnostic imaging and industrial / scientific components. He continues to serve as a Member of the Board of Directors. Peter Nilsen's education includes an undergraduate degree in Political Science /International Relations from Northern Illinois University and an MBA from the University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign.

During this period, he has held senior sales and management positions with the finance subsidiaries of Hitachi Data Systems, Memorex Corporation and General Electric (GE Capital). In these positions, he was directly responsible for the pricing, structuring, negotiating and closing of more than $500 million of capital equipment financing with Fortune 1000 companies. Earlier in his career, after a Pentagon assignment with the U. S. Army, Gordon achieved the position of Registered Options Principal with the prominent New England investment banking firm Tucker Anthony and R. L. Day. Throughout his entire career, Gordon has dedicated himself to teaching and assisting business colleagues understand the importance of finance in both personal and corporate environments. Additionally, Gordon's extensive public speaking engagements have focused on explaining and implementing creative financial selling strategies, which resulted in his becoming the "go to guy" nationwide when unique solutions were needed to close complex finance transactions. Gordon Tapley's education includes an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Syracuse University, as well as an MBA in Finance from The F. W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts.
