Chris has also worked for smaller growth companies and start-ups with sales under $10 million and for companies as large as Best Buy, where he was responsible for departments generating over $1 billion in annual revenue. Dan Mulvaney was Sunbelt Midwest's Broker of the Year in 2005 and is currently the Midwest's highest producer. Dan brings a diverse business background to his clients. Most of his career was spent in corporate America in financial and operational roles. He has worked as a public accountant, controller of an $800 million division of a Fortune 100, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of middle market companies, and as a business owner. He has also been on a number of private company Boards of Directors. Dan has successfully architected business strategies and executed both turnarounds and growth initiatives. He has been responsible for over $150 million of business acquisitions, divestitures and financings; including post-acquisition integration. His experience in the manufacturing, service and real estate industries allows him to quickly assess his clients' businesses and position them for maximum exposure in the marketplace. Dan employs a hands-on approach and attempts to achieve win-win outcomes in his clients' transactions. He is licensed in both Minnesota and Wisconsin. Dan received his BS in Accounting from St. JohnÂ?s University, Collegeville, in 1982 and his MBA from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, in 1986. DJ Roeser has a unique perspective as a past customer of Sunbelt Business Brokers. DJ started her career as a buyer for a department store, eventually leading to15 years at Target corporate headquarters and a Director position. DJ left to become a successful business owner of a promotional products (ASI) manufacturing and distribution company. DJ understands the motivation to leave corporate life to become a small business owner. She was instrumental in growing that business which was sold in 2005 through Sunbelt Business Brokers.
As a broker, DJ will use her combination of experience and insight to help clients buy or sell a business. Matt Schroder is a licensed Business Broker in both Minnesota and Wisconsin. Matt was awarded Sunbelt Midwest's Broker of the year award in 2003, 2004 and runner up in 2005 (and not happy about it!) Mr. Schroder has over 14 years of experience in buying and brokering businesses. Before becoming a business broker he owned his own sales and distribution company dealing with many small business owners. He has a very diversified background that includes extensive experience in sales and marketing along with financing and management.
