I am an attorney with more than twenty five years of experience in transactional work. I have also started, built and then sold four businesses of my own. Those businesses included a manufacturing startup that was grossing over five million per year at the time of sale, a coast to coast trucking company, an import company and a national independent sales rep organization. I was the president of each of those companies and responsible for all day to day operations as well as all activites associated with the sale of each company.


My Sunbelt offices in Omaha are located in the same complex as my law firm and my law partners title company. The offices in Lincoln and Grand Island are located with title companies. We offer sellers and buyers a one stop shop, no matter which office they use. Sunbelt in Nebraska and western Iowa is the largest and most professional business brokerage in the area. There are seven brokers that work for Sunbelt Nebraska. All are well trained and very experienced. Most are previous business owners themselves. Two sold their business through Sunbelt.


I purchased the Nebraska Sunbelt offices because I want to provide to sellers and buyers the most professional, experienced and ethical business brokerage experience possible.

I’ve been a buyer and a seller, as well as a business owner, for ten years, so I know what it’s like on both sides.  For sellers, I understand how hard it is to determine the appropriate selling price. I bring in a variety of resources to evaluate not only what the business is worth, but what financing issues will affect the sale price.  For buyers, I understand the huge commitment of owning and running a business, so I help them determine whether they have the time and the desire before they make the investment.


 


I believe buyers and sellers run a huge risk if they don’t consult a professional broker, because they don’t necessarily have the expertise in multiple areas that we do.

Before joining Sunbelt Advisors, I was national sales manager for a Fortune 500 company.
