Michael Byrnes began his strategic advisory career in 1980 as a consultant with the New York and Washington, D.C. firm, World Affairs, Inc. There, under the tutelage of Martin R. Haley and Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan, he worked on multiple ‘big picture’ projects, ranging from defense conversion strategies with the National Economic Commission to technology transfer processes with multiple stakeholders, including the NSA, U.S. Congress, and individual technology transfer offices. He also worked with Fortune 500 clients to design and manage various corporate intelligence and crisis management projects.
While deployed in Europe in the mid-1980s to assist in the design of economic development strategies for German Reunification, he resided in the Vatican City. There, he studied dialectics and ethics, and later was ordained.
Throughout the 1990’s, he worked with the George S. May International company and other management consultancies, providing rapid assessments and counsel to a wide variety of SME companies throughout the U.S. and Canada. Provided diverse range of expertise: management organization and training; business financial and operating planning; employee productivity strategies; turnaround and investment banking strategies. Assisted in various M&A and public offering transactions.
In 1997, he undertook a U.S. government assignment in Bosnia-Herzegovina to assess the country’s electronic banking capacity. He remained in the Southeast European region for the next nine years to study the long-term economic consequences of nation-building, working with the World Bank, United Nations, Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), and various local agencies and corporations.
In 2005, he joined Geneva based Orah Investments, brokering SME investments throughout the Southeast European region. In 2006, he joined New York based Nova Capital Partners, LLC as investment banking principal, focusing on mid-cap transactions. In April 2008, he completed writing a book on economic philosophy, Hands & Brains Unbound: Revealing the Illusion of World Order & the Revolution Ascending. The book is now being edited for publishing in London.
In October 2008, he joined Sunbelt, an international business brokerage network. He plans on using his extensive international background to aid Sunbelt in attracting foreign capital into their markets. |

Upon graduating from Western Michigan University, Mr. Carter embarked on an over 20-year career in automotive manufacturing, working in the areas of materials, logistics, purchasing, and information technology. Mr. Carter has also owned small businesses and, having sold one of his businesses through Sunbelt, has "walked in the shoes" of both the buyer and seller. His positive experience with Sunbelt of West Michigan led Tim to join Ken's team as a Business Intermediary. |

For the past 19 years Mr. Glamzi has been actively employed in the accounting/finance profession, 12 of those as a CPA and 7 as a Controller & Chief Financial Officer. The corporate diversity gained while practicing public accounting and the attention to details while employed as Controller & Chief Financial Officer has given me a keen understanding of the significant issues facing businesses and thereby the ability to provide sound advice to both business owners and buyers alike. |

After earning his MBA from Columbia University, Mike Greengard worked for large corporations in both marketing and financial services. Following his corporate experience, Mr. Greengard migrated toward smaller manufacturing concerns in which his hands on management style gave him the satisfaction of immediate contribution. During the next 25 years, Mr. Greengard was president/owner of a number of small to medium size companies. After buying and selling seven companies for his investment groups and/or his own account, Mike elected to leave manufacturing and take advantage of his years of front line experience by joining the Sunbelt Network. Mr. Greengard, in reviewing his own career, has determined that he had more fun and success in the "deal" side of the business than in the "operating" side, and he plans to bring his experience and expertise to the clients of Sunbelt's Grand Rapids office. |

Ms. McKee graduated from Michigan State University and went on to receive an MBA from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird), located in Phoenix, AZ, where her concentration was finance and trained to work within the French culture. She then entered the banking industry as a Credit Analyst and later, a Corporate Loan Officer before landing a Relationship Manager position for Fortune 1000 multi-national customers in the Midwest US, marketing domestic and international financial products. Feeling a bit more entrepreneurial, Ms. McKee then became a Franchisor, running a four store retail operation for 15 years. As an ex- franchisee and former banker, she feels ideally suited to place the franchisee with the proper Franchisor, according to the Franchisee’s needs, budget allowance and lifestyle. |
