VICE PRESIDENT - FINANCE & ANALYTICS / David Clay brings over 20 years of business experience to the Sunbelt team. A graduate of the University of Texas with a BBA in Finance, the majority of David's career has been in operational and financial management of small businesses. Within three years of graduating college, David had already realized success with two different entrepreneurial startups in the offset printing industry, both of which became worldwide industry leaders in their respective fields. In addition to taking David around the globe in support of his companies, the printing industry brought him experience in small business finance and accounting, research and development, manufacturing, patents and trademarks, and employee management. David's experience with mergers and acquisitions also began during his tenure in the printing industry when he and his partners sold their own company to an investment group, with David being the lead negotiator and purchase contract architect. It is this experience that led David to have a love and appreciation of the mergers and acquisitions process, both from a personal and professional level, which has now transcended with him to the powersports industry. Since 2002 David has been directly involved in the ownership changes at over 10 dealerships and now brings this experience directly to the Sunbelt team. David, as Vice President-Finance & Analytics, will assist clients in the preparation of their businesses for sale and will be the primary liaison with prospective buyers in aspects of due diligence and seller finances. David also provides financial, operational, and software consulting services to our clients. |

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT / Jessica Szopinski is a current full time student at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, TX studying to receive a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration & Finance. She has worked as an administrative and clerical assistant for multiple retail stores and a large, well-known real estate brokering office in Texas. She currently assists Sunbelt Powersports / Mergers & Acquisitions in organizing financial portfolios and gathering other critical data necessary for composing the ideal prospectus presentations for our clients. This allows our investors to engage into the Letter of Intent / Offer phase more quickly and more confidently. Jessica serves as a direct assistant to the entire Sunbelt Powersports M&A team in gathering this information and coordinating delivery with our clients. Those functions make up the Business Finance Internship Program at Sunbelt Powersports in which Jessica has tenure of more than two years. This program allows her to work directly under our VP of Finance & Analytics to expand her expertise while completing her Business Finance degree. |
