Sunbelt of Cedar Rapids Announces New Ownership

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA, January 30, 2008 – Sunbelt, the world’s largest business brokerage network, introduces Maurie Cashman as the new office owner of the Cedar Rapids office. Mr. Cashman recently acquired the business from its previous owners, Roger Hutson and Matthew Ashburn.

Mr. Cashman’s experience prior to joining Sunbelt includes 19 years at Land O’Lakes serving as Controller and Director of Business Development during which time he developed a start-up business that grew to over $150 million in sales with operations in ten states. He has led negotiations on acquisitions, joint ventures, contractual relationships and divestitures. Maurie has recently relocated to Cedar Rapids with his family and enjoys golf, racquetball and woodworking.
