Robert A. "Bob" Bourgeois is one of the owners of Sunbelt Business Brokers of Baton Rouge, LA. Bob and his partner Aaron Comeaux acquired the Baton Rouge office over 8 years ago. He is a life long resident of Baton Rouge. He attended LSU getting a BS and an MBA. Bob spent over 20 years with Blue Cross of Louisiana where he was Vice President of Marketing for, as he likes to say, "More years than he likes to count."
In his position at Sunbelt he has personally handled or overseen and managed the sale of over 175 businesses with many being mid market / M & A transactions with 7 figure plus values. Aaron Comeaux is a seasoned executive with over 19 years of diverse business experience as both a corporate executive and business owner. Mr. Comeaux has directed numerous personal business start-ups, purchases and sales. His expertise includes oversight of over 150 successful business sales transactions with many being in the middle market.
After completing his BS in Marketing and his MBA, Aaron began his career as Marketing Manager for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana. During his period, he started and subsequently sold a national direct catalog marketing company that specialized in the resale of internationally manufactured products.
After selling the direct marketing company, Aaron entered the medical services arena with the start-up/expansion of an existing regional Durable Medical Equipment company. This experience led to additional medical opportunities for Mr. Comeaux in the Home Health Services industry. He started and operated his own Home Health Services Company for six years while advising and consulting numerous business clients on starting, licensing and accrediting new medical service entities. He is very experienced handling the numerous challenges while harnessing the opportunities of the medical services industry.
Seeking new challenges and experience, Aaron purchased a 20 year old, lift and logistics company that was in dire condition. He immediately started a comprehensive turnaround program that culminated with a successful resale within a two-year period.
During that restructure, Aaron realized his unique interest and acuity at analyzing businesses and creating business transactions. This led to a decision to purchase an existing merger acquisition advisory firm. Immediately, he began focusing on creating successful business sale transactions. Ed Bacon is a full-blooded Cajun with family roots in Avoyelles Parish. He has been in Baton Rouge since 1969 and attended Sherwood Elementary through LSU. Jim Desselle brings forty plus years in Banking, Finance, Insurance, Real Estate, etc. to his position as Business Broker, and is a Louisiana native and he attended Louisiana State University. Jim's banking experience includes being the founder of Bank of the South, and he also has affiliations with Bank of Southwest, LA, Pontchetrain Bank, and First Bank. Thomas is a life long resident of Avoyelles Parish. He has
been married to his wife, Sandra, for 30 years and has one son, Trent.
Tom has 20 1/2 years of sales experience including two-and-a-half years
as a licensed realtor, 15 years in the wholesale food and beverage
industry, and three years as a sales admissions representative in the
transportation industry. Tom also worked three years as a Plant Manager for
a Wood Preserving Plant.
As a realtor he has extensive experience with residential
properties, commercial properties, and property management. Tom has been
the top producer in sales for 2005 and 2006. He is a member of the
National Association of Realtors, a member of the Central Louisiana Board

Alan Risher brings many years of successful sales and marketing experience to his position as business broker. Born in New Orleans, Alan is a life long Louisiana native. He attended LSU obtaining a BS degree. Alan, a prep All-American Quarterback, starred at LSU before enjoying a five year pro career in the NFL and USFL. Frank Walker brings years of solid experience in cash and inventory control systems, along with expertise in multilevel budgeting and business plans to his position as a business broker. He graduated from LSU obtaining a BS in Accounting and was also a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy. Frank has business expertise which resulted from conceiving, building and selling two successful businesses: CustomCraft Mobile Homes and CWH, Inc. Frank was the Senior Manager for the manufacturing plant of CustomCraft Mobile Homes in Clinton, LA where he established business and negotiated capital, and built a new 72,000 square foot manufacturing facility until he finally sold his minority ownership. CWH, Inc is a multi-line retail company that Frank created the concept for and established a major retail business, consisting of a multi-line department store, including soft lines, hard lines, school uniforms and pharmacy until he sold the business in 2001.
Frank has also been a senior financial offer for three manufacturing plants, dealing with national and international sales at Riegel Textile Company, in Ware Shoals, South Carolina. And he also worked as a controller at Agribusiness Marketers Inc in Baton Rouge, LA where he was responsible for all aspects of administrative and financial management including human resources, general accounting, cost accounting, information systems, financial planning, financial reporting and corporate relationships.
